Super Horse

Competition 2026

Amateur & Open Divisions · Paso Fino Horse Association

To win this competition, entries will compete in four elements: a GNS Bella Forma class, a GNS Divisional class (Pleasure, Performance or Fino), a Super Horse Agility class, and a Super Horse Timed Obstacle class.

Points will be awarded for each element and the highest scoring horse will be awarded the title PFHA GNS 2026 Super Horse. Prize money will be paid out to the top six places in both the Amateur and Open divisions.

Entry Requirements
  • Open to Amateurs and Professionals 18 years old and over.
  • Any PFHA registered Paso Fino horse 36 months and older may enter.
  • A separate Super Horse Competition entry form is required (provided in the GNS prize list).
  • Entries must be submitted with a regular show entry form by the GNS entry deadline.
  • Championship, Youth, and Specialty classes will not be included in point totals.
  • Horses in Amateur divisions must compete in Amateur classes; Open entries in open classes. Cross-entry is not permitted.
  • Required per horse: one Bella Forma class, one Divisional class (Pleasure, Performance or Fino), the Agility class, and the Timed Obstacle class.
Tack & Attire
  • For the Agility and Timed Obstacle classes: appropriate and legal per the PFHA Rulebook for the Pleasure division.
  • For the Bella Forma and Divisional classes: appropriate and legal per the PFHA Rulebook for those respective classes.
Procedures & Notes
  • Divisional and Bella Forma class procedures follow the PFHA Rulebook.
  • Patterns for the Agility and Timed Obstacle classes will be included in the prize list.
  • Points are awarded to the horse, not the rider — riders may be changed between classes.
  • Disqualification from a class forfeits that class's points but does not eliminate the horse from competition.
