The Paso Fino Foundation, Inc.

As per the Articles of Incorporation, the Paso Fino Foundation shall support the Paso Fino Horse Association, Inc. by engaging in activities designed to:

1. Educate the public about the Paso Fino Horse breed (the “Breed”) and increase public awareness of the Breed;
2. Promote research and education in academic disciplines which will contribute positively to the health and welfare of the Breed;
3. Conduct studies, instruction, training and research for the continual growth and perpetuation of the Breed;
4. Make contribution for the purpose of providing assistance and emergency relief to horses of the Breed;
5. Establish scholarships and grants to individuals meeting established criteria and pursuing a degree or career in fields such as agriculture, equine, animal or veterinary science;
6. Support cultural historical and education events and programs designed to increase awareness in, and the health and welfare of the Breed;
7. Promote a continuing interest in the development of the Breed.

The Paso Fino Foundation, Inc. is a separate legal entity and not related to PFHA

PUERTO RICO DISASTER RELIEF
Working with the Paso Fino Horse Foundation, collect funds to purchase and deliver feed to the horse owners hurt by the recent hurricanes.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO YOUTH WHO WIN AT PFHA NATIONALS
Working with Beth Uelsmann Figueroa, established the Tom Uelsmann Scholarship awarded to youth who win at PFHA National Show.

100% LIFE TIME MEMBERS FUND
Initiative to solicit PFHA Life Members to contribute to support youth and educational programs, humanitarian aid to disaster relief efforts, Paso Fino horse rescue efforts, the Trail Horse Test Program, and public recognition of the Paso Fino horse

PASO FINO HORSE RESCUE FUND
Working with the Paso Fino Horse Association Ethics Committee to establish a comprehensive program to rescue, rehome, and retrain Paso Fino horses. Interested in adopting or rescuing a Paso Fino?
