Kathy Yarbrough

I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and have lived near Nashville most all my life. I am married to Jon and in June will celebrate 35 years of marriage. We have two adult children, Jon Paul and Amelia (Amy). Horses have been a big part of my life. Growing up, we had Quarter horses and we competed in barrel racing, pole bending, figure 8, keyhole, flags, rings, one barrel rescue and later as I was older, western pleasure. After I married, my father-in-law, James, took me to a Paso Fino show and there we purchased a mare together. Her name was Majestuosa Don Francisco, and so the passion began. I competed our Paso Finos up until Amy was of age to compete them. Whether competing or watching, I love every minute and every discipline of the breed. Now, 24 years later, the passion continues. I love to travel especially to countries that celebrate the Paso Fino and I will serve as Secretary with the same passion as we all share and continue to share.
